When do CCEA GCSE exams start in 2027?

CCEA GCSE Summer 2027 written exams begin on Tuesday 4 May 2027 and run to the contingency day on Wednesday 23 June 2027. Morning sessions start at 9.15am and afternoon sessions at 1.30pm.

When do CCEA A Level (GCE) exams start in 2027?

CCEA GCE AS and A2 practical assessments begin on Friday 30 April 2027, with written papers running through May and June and the contingency day on Wednesday 23 June 2027. CCEA runs a summer sitting only — there is no January GCE series.

When is CCEA results day 2027?

GCE (A Level) results are issued to candidates on Thursday 12 August 2027 and GCSE results on Thursday 19 August 2027. November 2026 GCSE resit results are issued on Thursday 4 February 2027, and March 2027 GCSE results on Thursday 15 April 2027.

What time do CCEA exams start?

For the summer series, morning sessions normally start at 9.15am and afternoon sessions at 1.30pm. The March 2027 GCSE resit series is the exception — its morning sessions start at 9.30am.

What is the CCEA contingency day in 2027?
