The June series is OCR's primary examination window for GCSE, AS, and A Level qualifications in England. Most OCR subjects are examined once a year in June, with results released in August.
OCR uses component codes to identify papers. The specification code (J625) combined with the component number (e.g., -01, -02) identifies which paper is which. For subjects with insert papers or source booklets, the insert file will be labelled '-ins-' and is required alongside the question paper when practising.
Past papers are most useful as diagnostic tools rather than just extra practice. After completing each paper, sort your errors into three categories: topics you don't know well enough, question types where your technique needs work, and topics where you lost marks to careless mistakes. Each category needs a different fix — content review, technique drill, or exam discipline respectively.
