How to fix: Move from 'identify' to 'analyse' in every paragraph. After naming a feature, quote the exact words, then tie the choice to AO3 context (audience, mode, purpose). Use the chain: feature -> evidence -> effect -> link to function. Never present a list of devices without immediately exemplifying and explaining each one's effect.
